Thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we all deal with this unprecedented situation and work together to protect the health of everyone in our community.
Please don’t worry about anything you have checked out from the library. Nothing is going to be due while we are closed and nothing will accumulate fines. You may keep your books, movies, etc. until we reopen, or you may return them in the outside book drop.
Because of the lack of hard data regarding how this virus is transmitted, we have been advised against making any modifications that allow people to borrow actual, physical library materials like books and DVDs, as the virus may possibly be transmitted by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touching your own mouth, nose, etc.
This is a great time to take advantage of the OWWL system’s great selection of ebooks and downloadable audiobooks books available through the Libby app or through owwl.org/owwl2go. The app is free and you just use your library card to “borrow” books.
Since the library is not staffed at this time, we are unable to answer questions by phone, but you can reach us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through Facebook. We don’t have a reopen date, but we will do our best to answer all other questions.
If you have an appointment with WayneCAP to have your taxes done, I assume they will be reaching out to you with an alternate location, but if you need to contact them, you can call 315-332-0107.
Stay home, stay safe. We look forward to seeing you all again. No comments
