As the month of April begins, there will be some changes to our restrictions at the library.
Starting April 1st:
- We are eliminating the one-way traffic system (entering the library at the Mason Street entrance and exiting at the High Street door) as traffic remains slow at the library as it seems unnecessary to inconvenience anyone with this requirement. So, feel free to come and go from either door and please come visit us – we miss you!
- We are also extending the length of time that you can spend on your visit to the library. Previously we asked for library visits be 30 minutes or less, now visitors are welcome to stay for an hour and this extends to anyone using the public computers.
With these changes, we will however continue to enforce the proper wearing of masks at all times in the library as well as ask everyone to respect those around them and maintain at least a 6′ social distance. The mask requirement is unlikely to end any time soon. This applies to anyone who has received a COVID vaccination as, although unlikely, even those who have been fully vaccinated can still contract COVID.
