We’re very pleased to announce that Tye Villane has joined our Newark Library team as our new Youth Services Coordinator.

Tye comes to us from Clifton Springs, having worked in Brockport Central Schools as a building substitute and serving 7 years in the Army as a Religious Affairs Specialist.
Tye received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education grades 1 – 6 and a master’s degree in literacy grades K – 12, both from SUNY Brockport.
Tye is excited to be a part of the library and Newark community. He hopes to continue the amazing pre-existing programs and establish new ways for patrons to come enjoy the Newark Public Library. When he isn’t working, Tye enjoys board games, Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with his two children Kaylynn and Elijah.
Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to Tye as he begins his journey at the Newark Public Library.
