The Newark Public Library houses a food pantry for the community! The Friends of The Newark Public Library Food Pantry is sponsored by The Friends of the Newark Public Library, Foodlink and Wegmans.
When visiting the food pantry, we kindly ask that you bring a reusable bag if you’re able. Our supply of bags is limited, and we may not always have extras available.
The schedule is as follows:
Mondays | 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesdays | 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesdays | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursdays | 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Fridays | 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturdays | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The pantry is always seeking volunteers to assist with daily operations during open hours, biweekly deliveries, and stocking and inventory tasks while the pantry is closed to help ensure everything runs smoothly. If you are interested please visit the library and talk to a staff member or call the library at (315) 331-4370. We truly appreciate the continued support from this wonderful community!
